Frequently asked questions
About the program
What is MultiPrime?
MultiPrime is a partner program for Introducing Brokers. It connects IBs with brokerage and liquidity infrastructure and with broker partners, and backs them with a partnership manager. Read more on the About page.
How do I apply?
Use the Apply button and answer 13 short questions. It takes about three minutes. You can also message us on WhatsApp or email first.
How long does the review take?
Within 24 hours of submitting. A partnership manager will contact you on WhatsApp or email.
What do I need to apply?
Your contact details, where you promote, and a rough idea of your client volume. It takes about three minutes.
Do I need an existing broker deal?
No. Tell us about any deals you have in the application. If you are starting fresh, we introduce you to suitable partners.
Can I apply if I already work with a broker?
Yes. Bring your current agreements. We review them against what our broker and liquidity network can offer and look for better terms.
Which countries can apply?
We review applications from every region. Which brokers and liquidity partners we can introduce depends on where you and your clients are, which is why the application asks.
Can I build my own brand?
That is one of the paths IBs come to us for: branded infrastructure and tools instead of a shared referral link. What is available depends on your markets and volume, and we cover it on the strategy call.
Does MultiPrime give investment advice?
No. Content on this website is general information only, and is not investment, legal or tax advice.
How is my data handled?
We use your details to review your application and contact you. We use service providers for hosting, database, email and messaging, and we do not sell your personal data. Read the Privacy Policy.
How do I contact MultiPrime?
Email info@multiprime.io or message us on WhatsApp at +44 1681 380254.
How IBs work and earn
What is an Introducing Broker?
An IB refers traders to a broker and earns a share of the trading activity they generate, usually as a rebate or commission per lot. See the guide What is an Introducing Broker?
How do IBs get paid?
Usually through a rebate per lot, a share of spread or commission, a one-off CPA fee, a revenue share, or a mix. See IB commission models compared.
What is a lot in forex?
A lot is a standard trade size. For most forex pairs, one standard lot is 100,000 units of the base currency.
What is the difference between an IB and an affiliate?
An affiliate usually sends traffic through a link and is paid a one-off fee. An IB stays involved with clients and is paid on their ongoing trading. See IB vs affiliate vs white label.
Do IBs hold client money?
In a typical arrangement, no. Clients deposit with the broker, and the broker holds and returns their funds.
How do I choose a broker for my clients?
Verify regulation on the regulator's own register, check withdrawals and payout terms, and test with a small account. See the checklist.
Do I need a licence to be an IB?
It depends on the country and on what you do. Some jurisdictions regulate or restrict introducing and promoting leveraged products. Check local rules and take professional advice.
